One week after dealing away the popular Jared Dudley for a second round pick, the Bucks have struck another deal that will send another veteran on his way.
Zaza Pachulia will be heading to Dallas for a second-round pick, according to multiple reports. Pachulia played in 73 games last season for Milwaukee (starting 45 of them) and had one of his most consistent and productive seasons, averaging 8.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists a game. The 31-year old Pachulia was also a strong presence in a locker room that benefited from having his veteran leadership around.
With Pachulia and Dudley now on other teams, the oldest player on the Bucks roster is Greivis Vasquez, who checks in at only 28 years old. The Bucks certainly won't be lacking any youth on their roster, but it will be interesting to see what kind of effect the departure of high character veterans will have on this group. Maybe it will be noticeable and maybe it will be minimal. I don't know.
Best of luck, Zaza.
