Start marking your calendars, because Bucks basketball is just 40 days away!
Today, the team released their preseason schedule. They'll play six games from October 6th-23rd, three games in Wisconsin (including one in Madison) and three games on the road. This is a lighter preseason schedule than usual, as last preseason had eight scheduled games. This is the fewest the team has ever had in a non-lockout season.
Enough info already, right? WHO DO THEY PLAY AND WHEN??
(times listed are in CT)

Saturday, Oct. 10 | vs. Detroit | BMO Harris Bradley Center | 7:30 p.m. (MACC Fund Game)
Tuesday, Oct. 13 | @ Cleveland | Quicken Loans Arena | 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 17 | vs. Washington | BMO Harris Bradley Center | 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 20 | vs. Minnesota | Kohl Center (Madison, WI) | 7:00 p.m.

Though it's the preseason, there's plenty of intrigue to be had here. Of course the new season starts against the team that eliminated the Bucks from the playoffs, and the first home game will be against old faces in Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova, as well as a first test for Greg Monroe against his old team. The schedule finishes with a pair of games against Eastern Conference contenders and a fun pair of games against Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns, and the entertaining Wolves. For as dull as preseason basketball can be at times, I'd say the Bucks schedule came out pretty well.
In around a month, the Bucks will be hosting their Media Day and will begin training camp in Madison shortly thereafter. We're almost to the end of the dog days of the offseason. Just hang in there. Bucks basketball is coming back soon.
