VIDEO: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece take care of business in EuroBasket opener, face Croatia next

Giannis Antetokounmpo's EuroBasket debut wasn't one for the record books, but that's OK.

Greece turned it on late to run away with an 85-65 win over the controversially-named Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, with Giannis scoring a modest 9 points (4/9 fg, 0/2 threes, 1/2 ft) to go with 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 27 minutes. While he often played a leading role in Greece's recent exhibition games, Giannis was more peripheral this time around -- two of his baskets came on baseline cuts, another a monster fastbreak dunk (see above) and his last a tip-in in the final two minutes. Alas, the perimeter game he's been flashing of late didn't make an appearance on Saturday, as he missed both of his threes and another pull-up jumper. And so it goes.

Greece next face Croatia this afternoon at 2 pm CT (ESPN3.com or the WatchESPN app), a game that could determine the ultimate winner of Group C.
