An unexpected player propelled the San Antonio Spurs past the Milwaukee Bucks 123-98 tonight inside the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Rookie Jonathan Simmons notched a career-high 18 points while missing only one shot from the floor as the Spurs jogged to their fifth-straight victory and swept the season series against the Bucks for the fourth year in a row.
Simmons, who previously spent time in the NBA Developmental League with the Austin Spurs, delivered off the bench for San Antonio in the second quarter, scoring 12 points and igniting a 19-3 run.
In our video report, Greg Monroe discusses the challenges the Bucks faced tonight, while Khris Middleton reveals his familiarity with Simmons' name.
