PODCAST: Thon Maker's Vegas adventure gives us glimpse of Bucks future

Our podcast has a new home.

The Vegas edition of the Milwaukee Bucks stumbled out of the Summer League tournament much like they stumbled into it last night, dropping their third straight overall in an 81-64 decision to the Dallas Mavericks. Of course, losing a meaningless game doesn't really matter -- it's the decidedly "meh" games from the Bucks' trio of Thon Maker, Malcolm Brogdon and Rashad Vaughn that are actually worth discussing.

In keeping with what we've seen over the past week, Maker wasn't bashful (6/17 fg, 2/6 threes, 17 points) and reiterated that his pick-and-pop game could eventually become a legitimate weapon. He also had a nice tip dunk, a follow dunk off his own miss and a short hook shot, though he once again struggled to create shots for himself overall and his rebounding numbers (3).dipped dramatically for the second straight game. With all that as a backdrop, Eric Nehm and I talked about the nuances of Maker's game and what the past week suggests we might expect moving forward.

As you'll notice (and hear), we have moved our podcasting juggernaut over to the new Locked On NBA network, joining a bunch of other really great team podcasts with the goal of delivering daily(ish) content. Otherwise there's no real change -- you might hear some ads from time to time (we're taking bribes now), but it will still be the same cast of Brew Hoopers and hopefully special guests as well.

Note that this is technically a new podcast, so it won't show up automatically in your podcasting app unless you subscribe via iTunes or through the new RSS here. As always your feedback and iTunes ratings are greatly appreciated!
