SPECIAL PODCAST GUEST ALERT!!!!
Actor/Comedian/Director/NBA Analyst Michael Rapaport joined the Locked on Bucks podcast to talk about his upcoming appearance in Milwaukee as well his Knicks fandom, his thoughts on the Bucks future, and the difficulty of playing in the shadow of a great team.
Rapaport will be at Milwaukee's Turner Hall Ballroom on Friday night at 7 p.m. for his "I am Rapaport: Stereo Podcast Live" event. Rapaport and his long-time collaborator Gerald Moody will start the show before former NBA player and Milwaukee native Latrell Sprewell joins the duo for a live interview on stage.
Basketball has been a part of Rapaport's life for a long time, but just recently became a larger part of his career. In 2014, Rapaport directed the documentary "When the Garden was Eden", which chronicled the life and times of the New York Knicks of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Those teams came away with NBA championships in 1970 and 1973. More recently, Rapaport became a featured weekly guest on Rachel Nichol's NBA show on ESPN, "The Jump" in addition to appearances on Bill Simmons' podcast and his own I am Rapaport pod.
As mentioned at the beginning and end of the podcast, we have two opportunities for you to win a pair of tickets to the show. The first will be found on the Brew Hoop Twitter account and the other can be found at the Brew Hoop Facebook page. Each account will have a question that tests your listening comprehension of the Rapaport interview. If you get the answer correct, you will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the show on Thursday night. A winner will then be randomly chosen from those entered to win. (We can't stop you from doing it, but we would appreciate if you would not enter the contest if you are unable to attend the show in Milwaukee on Friday night.)
