If counting down the days until Bucks basketball is your thing, then you may begin your countdown at 55 days. On September 27th, the Bucks will make a return trip to Madison and get their training camp underway.

For the second straight season, the Bucks will hold camp on the UW-Madison Campus in the Nicholas-Johnson Pavillion the 27th-30th. Here's what GM John Hammond had to say about the return to the state capitol.

"We are thrilled to return to Madison for a second consecutive year," Bucks General Manager John Hammond said. "The facilities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are unrivaled and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the state's capital last preseason. The Bucks proudly represent the entire state of Wisconsin and we look forward to connecting with the amazing fans at the Kohl Center once again."

In addition to holding camp in Madison, the Kohl Center will also play host to a preseason game for the second straight season. The Dallas Mavericks, highlighted by "homecoming" visits from Devin Harris and Wesley Matthews, will square off against the Bucks on October 8th at 7:30 p.m. Below is the Bucks full preseason schedule.

Among the Bucks other two home games is the 40th annual MACC Fund game on October 15th against the Chicago Bulls. The MACC Fund game gives everyone a chance to highlight and learn more about this incredible organization that helps in the fight against childhood cancer. Serving as the cornerstone event of the Bucks partnership, the game has helped raise over $1 million towards children's cancer research and helped accomplish some truly amazing things.

Less than two months separate us from Bucks basketball once more. In the meantime, enjoy this Giannis putback smash from last year's game in Madison.
