Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Today’s (on)topic: All Access with Jabari Parker
ACL injuries didn’t break Jabari Parker’s spirit. He spent 24 hours with @TheCrossover and was positive every second https://t.co/apeNm28O5r

A very well done video from Sports Illustrated that candidly chronicles Parker’s thoughts and goals for his rehab, his career, and life. I found what he said about loneliness during rehab to be insightful and how he had been spending the past few months living with his mom.
Can you imagine Jabari as a zoo keeper? Which animal do you think he would be responsible for? I can see him being in the reptile room.
There’s a lot of good stuff in here. Give this a watch if you haven’t already; heck I’ll probably watch it again.
Today’s (off)topic: Worst Houses to Trick-or-Treat At
Every neighborhood has those houses that just give out either the worst candy or no candy at all. Unfortunately my dad and grandpa fall into both of these categories. My dad always gives out Necco Wafers which is undeniably the worst candy you could get on Halloween.
My grandpa would not give out any candy at all. Instead he would give out little puzzle books and stickers that were not always Halloween themed. I liked logic puzzles at that age so I enjoyed getting them, but I know I was in the deep minority of my peers.
I promise to break the cycle of Licht men giving out disappointing Halloween treats. I will strive to be the king size candy bar house.
What kind of disappointing candy or non-candy treats did you get as a little kid during Halloween?
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
