Brew Hoop Graveyard Shift: October 16th, 2017

New, comments

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Today’s (on)topic: Richard Jefferson Signs With Denver

Welp, it was rumored that the chase for Richard Jefferson’s signature was a battle between the Bucks and the Denver Nuggets and it looks like the Nuggets have won this battle. They waived former St. Joe’s great, Jameer Nelson, to make some room for their brand new 37 year old guard.

How do we feel about the news? Upset or relieved? RJ would have been a nice mentor along with JET for the youngins.

Today’s (off)topic: Graveyards

On Sunday afternoon I took a tour of the graveyard where Ben Franklin was buried. It was cool to see the markings and how weathered everything looked, but really it was just a graveyard. There’s no way that block in Philadelphia isn’t haunted.

In Iowa City, Iowa there’s an especially freaky statue called “The Black Angel” Located in the Oakland Cemetery. Take a look at this thing, it’s even more unnerving in person:

Any graveyard stories or any fans of the classic cul-de-sac game, Ghosts in the Graveyard?

As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
