Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Today’s (on)topic: ESPN The Magazine Longform
The @Bucks' have two things that set them apart: Giannis & abnormal length. Can that one day deliver a championship?https://t.co/EYWU9QlUZc

I’m sure y’all have read this story from ESPN on how the Bucks have assembled their current roster and how they plan on capitalizing on the talent of Giannis Antetokounmpo in both the present and the future.
The section I took away from this piece was towards the end when the ownership group is brought up. The quote that sticks out the most is the one that mentions what could bring down the solid foundation in place:
It'll be because a bunch of hedge fund guys couldn't agree on a coherent vision.
That is how the Bucks could fail to #OwnTheFuture and it is a potential problem that hopefully does not grow into a seismic event of organizational disarray. This past off-season showed that their are tremors up top and this next off-season will put the relationship of LED to another test.
Hopefully there are no catastrophic aftershocks.
Today’s (off)topic: Bad Horror Movies
I don’t think there is a movie genre out there that has so many god awful movies quite like the scary movie genre. A lot of the times the movies are so bad that I have to turn them off half way through.
Every once in a while I come across a movie so bad it has to be finished. The movie that comes to my mind is called “Hobgoblins.” It’s kind of a Gremlins knock-off and basically these hobgoblins terrorize a movie studio security guard. There’s a scene where one of the hobgoblins takes a joyride in a golf cart. It’s an unintentionally funny flick.

Which movie comes to mind in the so bad I have to finish it category?
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
