Brew Hoop Graveyard Shift: October 8th, 2017

New, comments

BOO!

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Today’s (on)topic: Kendall Marshall Waived

Good-bye my Butter, good-bye my friend. With the number of pre-season days dwindling the Bucks make another roster move and waive Kendall Marshall. The Bucks are unable to assign Marshall to the Herd since his rights are still held by the Reno Bighorns. Barring a re-return on next year’s pre-season roster this will be the last time we see Marshall in Buck branded clothing. This is good news for Gary Payton II who I think is the clubhouse leader for that 15th spot.

Today’s (off)topic: Which Planet Would Win a Fight?

I’ve had this recurring argument with a friend for the past few weeks over which planet would win in a Wrestlemania-type cage match. The friend went with Jupiter because of size, and I went with Saturn because of those rings. Jupiter does constantly have that red hurricane/tornado going which might be tough to break. My dark horse is Mercury due to it being so close to the sun - that kind of physical fortitude would hold up in a cage match.
