It was definitely an emotional rollercoaster at the Bradley Center, as the Milwaukee Bucks toyed with all of our emotions, but eventually earned a 109-102 win. The Big Three (feel free to use your favorite nickname) provided the fuel to the well-needed W, as Antetokounmpo/Bledsoe/Middleton tallied 82 total points. Khris Middleton finished as the lead man with 31 points and Giannis was next in line with 27. Eric Bledsoe ended his night with 24 points.
The action kicked off with an ice-cold field-goal percentage for Milwaukee, yet they only found themselves down three heading into the second period. And what would ya know, that slump dragged on into the second quarter. At half, Dallas clung to a 54-49 lead, despite the Bucks shooting 37.5 percent and 2-of-11 from the perimeter.
Frustrating defense became a frequent occurrence in the third quarter, as the Mavericks weaved through the Bucks defense like Swiss cheese. Yet, miraculously, the Bucks ended the period only down a single point (*insert the Larry David uncertainty GIF here*).
A red-hot Khris Middleton and a sidekick of Eric Bledsoe really provided the Bucks a boost in the fourth. Middleton kept collecting change with his 3-point shots, one of which resulted in a four point play. It eventually led to him closing it out at the free throw line and providing the Bucks with a nerve-wracking victory.
Malcolm Brogdon also helped pull some of the weight for Milwaukee, tallying 14 points on the evening. For Dallas, Wes Matthews led the way with 29 points.
The Bucks will look to complete their three-game homestand with no blemishes tomorrow night when the Utah Jazz come to town.
