We hardly knew ya Roy.
According to a report from The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Milwaukee Bucks are finalizing a deal sending center Roy Hibbert to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for a heavily protected 2nd round pick.
Denver will send a heavily protected second-round pick to the Bucks for Hibbert, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Trading Roy Hibbert was a potential scenario given he was on an expiring deal, and that heavily protected pick is likely of the top-55 protected variety meaning Hibbert is gone for essentially nothing. But, it’s at least a trade! It also opens up a roster spot for Milwaukee and gets Denver closer to the salary cap floor.
Update:
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel writer Charles Gardner is reporting that the pick the Bucks acquired is in the 2019 draft.
Pick Bucks are acquiring is for 2019 draft.

Long story short, root for the Nuggets to somehow become one of the five most elite teams in the league within the next few years if you want any hope of seeing that pick conveyed.
