The votes have been cast, and the Brew Hoop fandom has collectively chosen Malcolm Brogdon’s game-winning dagger over the Celtics and the Game Three obliteration of Toronto as the two finalists for best signature win of the season. They were able to beat out Michael Beasley helping beat the Spurs in San Antonio and the win over Cleveland that prompted those “true professional” quotes from Lebron. Let’s pit them against one another and see who comes out on top.
Brogdon Game Winner over Celts vs. Thrashing Toronto in Game Three
Both of these games have their own merits. One came in thrilling fashion, with Brogdon’s clutch play late helping stave off Isaiah Thomas and the Celtics. Plus, that one was on the road, whereas Game Three had the benefit of a raucous BMO crowd threatening to tear the roof off that place one year early. It was never in doubt, and what little drama they had involved just how massive the margin of victory would be. Plus they held DeMar DeRozan to 0-8 shooting on a far grander stage than a late regular season game. That shot though...
