Seemed like a worse idea last year.

He wasn’t popular as a free agent pursuit last year but how about:

Monroe, Delly, & 2018 (& 2019?) 2nd round pick for Dwyane Wade.

Telly could be an option as well, but thinking that Da Bulls point guards are all pretty green, so a vet like Delly could be a good leader, plus they just drafted Markkanen. Henson would be better to be rid of, and I might try him first, but not thinking Da Bulls would do that without more than a 2nd (or two).

Wade could be helpful come playoffs, and even if he can’t hit 3s he plays on the ball on offense and could be a good 6th man; plus when Khris trained with Wade a few summers ago he made significant strides.

We cut salary under the cap this year, as well as dumping Delly’s salary for the next 3, and rebuilding Chicago doesn’t end up worse off, other than having more minutes available for Dunn/Payne/Lavine/Holiday/Valentine/Grant, and an extra 2nd rounder.

Our centers would suck (worse), and we’d be thin at point, but maybe that allows Henson some run, and makes him more tradable? Or we could stretch Hawes and make an offer to Nerlens Noel; maybe 5-7 million a year for 2-3 years or something?

Finally, and most pipe-dreamedly, it sets up a 2018 Wade / LeBron Milwaukee reunion / Bizarro Golden State Warriors death lineup, under which circumstances I think most would be willing to attach a 1st to Henson to clear space.
