Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Today’s (on)topic: WNBA Star Signature Shoes

I came across this tweet and I immediately thought to myself, “Does Candace Parker have her own shoe?” A quick google search showed me that she does! Which makes sense since she’s one of the five biggest names in Women’s Basketball of the past decade-plus. NBA stars’ signature shoes are available for women to purchase and I’m guessing that WNBA players do wear their male counterparts’ signature shoes. Do you think an NBA player would wear the signature shoe of a WNBA star at some point?
Today’s (off)topic: Super Nintendo
Last night, I missed out on the pre-order window for the SNES Classic that is hitting store shelves in September. So today I just decided to purchase a refurbished SNES and a handful of games. Hearing the “Ding!” coin sound when firing up Super Mario World brought a flood of childhood memories. Included in the haul was a Wayne’s World game where Wayne shoots electricity out of his guitar at bagpipes and you never make it past the first level because there is no direction or goal to achieve.
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
