Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Today’s (on)topic: NBA & Marijuana
The NBA is "open" to the legalization of medical marijuana https://t.co/zVnp7O3AWc pic.twitter.com/ukqN6dyNcn

The NFL is kicking around the idea of being okay with its players using marijuana for rehabilitative purposes and the NBA appears to be following suit. NBA Boss Man, Adam Silver, mentioned he does not see the players using for “pain management” as much as NFL players would, but is willing to go down that avenue with the player’s union. If this were to become a league initiative, how would this affect players in states where the medical use of marijuana is not yet legal? My very novice legal mind thinks the players that live in those states would not be exempt from the state’s laws regardless of the employer’s laws.
Today’s (off)topic: TV Volume Number
When I adjust the volume on my TV I have to rest the volume on an even number. If the volume being at a 12 is a little too soft while 14 is a little too loud, I refuse to Goldilocks the volume and pick 13. I have to stay on an even number unless that number is a multiple of 5. 15 is fair game and is usually my default choice and 25 comes into play during shows with soft dialogue parts (looking at you Breaking Bad). Are y’all even number or odd number volume setters? Do you even care?
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
