Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Today’s (on)topic: Jalen Moore
Spoke w/ Jalen Moore & he says leaving the Bucks was his call. He's been dealing w/ anxiety & he's trying to get help/focus on himself 1st.

When I first saw the news that the Bucks waived two-way contract player, Jalen Moore, I was confused. This follow-up from the Sentinel’s Matt Velazquez clears the air. Anxiety, in all of its ways, shapes, and forms is something that cannot be taken lightly. On the surface, anxiety sounds like something that could be overcome with a little effort, but that is wholly incorrect. The best I can describe anxiety would be to liken it to getting caught in quicksand – it doesn’t seem like much at first, but it goes a lot deeper and becomes more treacherous if not addressed right away. As a young man chasing his dream, Moore has proved how mature he is in addressing his self-care. I wish nothing but the best for Moore in his personal life and I hope his path to a clear mind is as obstacle-free as possible.
Today’s (off)topic: Fantasy Sports
Fantasy football kicked off in full today and how is your squad looking? I last played fantasy football in 2013 and this past March Madness I decided to not fill out a bracket for the first time. I’ve noticed that I have stopped paying attention to the NFL almost completely and I enjoyed the first weekend of March Madness more than usual since I could just cheer for maximum chaos.
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
