So it looks like we are 9 days away from the new Nike jerseys hitting the retail shelves. Hopefully this includes the MECCA Game jerseys because I am going to snag one of those bad boys. The new Nike jerseys have a NIKEconnect chip in them that syncs with a related app that allowed the jersey wearer to get highlights and team updates associated with the jersey. That kind of connectivity is insane from a retail jersey and provides more proof that the NBA just gets it when it comes to the technological relationship between the fans and the league. How do we feel about the NIKEconnect technology in the jerseys - a cool and fun technological add-on, or just too much?
Today’s (off)topic: Favorite Cars
I’m not a gearhead at all but my favorite car is a 1960s, orange Chevy Camero based solely on the fact that it was the one hot wheel car I had that could not be beaten in a race. I have only had one car in my life, my 2006 Chevy Malibu, however it probably has one winter and maybe one more summer in it before it conks out for the last time. I don’t know if my Chevy brand loyalty will carry on yet. Are you loyal to any car brands/what is your favorite car?
