All-Star Starters/Which Chocolate is Best?

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Today’s (on)topic: All-Star Starters

The All-Star game starters were announced earlier this evening and familiar name and face, Giannis Antetokounmpo, was named a starter for the second consecutive year.

LeBron James and Stephen Curry were the leading overall vote getters for the Eastern and Western Conferences and are the two respective captains for the untelevised All-Star draft.

Does LeBron pick Giannis after finishing second to Antetokounmpo in the player voting? I don’t think his pettiness will spill over into the exhibition and James would 100 percent select Giannis, maybe not first overall, but if Antetokounmpo was available the second time around.

What do we make of the New Orleans Pelicans getting two starters? Anthony Davis was a no-brainer, but DeMarcus Cousins checks in as a pleasant surprise. I was fully prepared for Draymond Green to get the third frontcourt nod, but I will gladly take Boogie as a starter.

Manu Ginobili finished second among the Western Conference backcourt in the fan voting and was this year’s Zaza Pachulia. With the 40 year old likely to retire after this season, it was easy for fans to rally around the San Antonio Spurs lifer.

Today’s (off)topic: Which Chocolate is Best?

I love, love, love, love dark chocolate. I will consume anything and everything that contains dark chocolate. Those Dove Dark Chocolate squares? Let me eat those until I get a stomach ache. Stale dark chocolate Halloween candy? Why not, it’s not going to get any fresher.

As far as other chocolate styles go, I think white chocolate is better than milk chocolate, but that is only if you consider Cookies n’ Cream to be apart of the white chocolate family. So, which style of chocolate do you feel is best?
