Today’s (on)topic: Minor League Uniforms

These rule so much. I love when affiliate and minor league teams get unabashedly absurd with using the uniform as a marketing gimmick. Personally, I think the Spongebob uni is in the upper echelon when it comes to gimmick jerseys. Minor baseball is littered with affiliate teams that pull out all the stops for marketing ploys.

Minor league baseball team, the Brooklyn Cyclones, have gone so far as to have annual Seinfeld nights that serve as pop-up Seinfeld conventions.

Any gimmick jerseys or themed-nights that you particularly remember or are even sick of?

Today’s (off)topic: Dream House Hunting

One of my favorite things is to go on realtor.com and find my dream houses in different cities throughout the United States. Half the time it ends up me just trying to find a house or apartment I could actually afford if I wanted to just pick up and move. I am an absolute sucker for cabin-style homes and have scoured central and northern Wisconsin for the absolute perfect cabin. Anyone else go on fantasy house hunting trips?
