All-Star Reserves Revealed/Sausage Race Sponsor

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (on)topic: All-Star Reserves Revealed

The All-Star Game rosters have finally been fully filled out and I really do not have any qualms with how the reserve selections shook out. I am okay with no Chris Paul or Paul George for the Western Conference and I think Lou Williams got halfway robbed, but I definitely don’t think he was more deserving than those selected.

The Eastern Conference selections went as I expected them too. I would have taken Andre Drummond over Kevin Love, but I’m cool with the Detroit Pistons being without an All-Star. I’m looking forward to how the All-Star teams shake out with the draft. Which of the reserves do you think will get picked last in the draft? My money is on Al Horford or Kevin Love.

Tonight’s (off)topic: Sausage Race Sponsor

Pour some out for Klement’s. They are my favorite local sausage maker (shout out Hot Italian Sausage) so this news hit me a little hard. I’m a Cubs fan (I know) but always enjoy attending games at Miller Park and obviously the Sausage Race is a Top-3 baseball tradition. The race just won’t be the same without that sweet, sweet Klement’s branding (okay, it will). So the question tonight is, who ya got in the race? I always pull for the Bratwurst mainly because of my German last name.
