Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Tonight’s (on)topic: All-Star Game Jerseys
MAJOR UPDATE: I obtained photos of the white set of 2018 NBA All-Star jerseys, so we now know that this will be the match-up (though, we don't know if Team Bron or Team Steph will be in black or white). The 5 white jerseys + detail pics are here https://t.co/i6sjF5dYAl pic.twitter.com/m93b9AHbnm

My goodness these All-Star Game jerseys are boring beyond belief. I understand not wanting to have each individual team logo colorized, but does the rest of the jersey have to look like an EA Sports Create-a-Team jersey template?
Since conference allegiance no longer matters (and even if it did), I would absolutely love for the participants to wear their own team’s Association or Icon jerseys instead of those bland rags. The MLB All-Star Game has each participant wear their own team’s colors and it makes for a cool clash. I guess doing that would mean there isn’t an extra jersey to sell.
Tonight’s (off)topic: Parallel Parking Etiquette
Whenever I parallel park, I back into the spot and then adjust accordingly. However, if there is traffic behind me I will pull into the spot to “claim” it and then once traffic clears, I will back out of the spot so I can then go about my backing in routine. Nothing gets me riled up more than following a car and then seeing that car stop in its tracks and start backing up to parallel park. It’s such a disruption to the traffic flow. There is no harm in pulling in, even if the back half of your car is sticking out, which gives the trailing cars enough space to maneuver around you.
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
