#NBAVote First Returns/Winter Hat Styles

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Today’s (on)topic: #NBAVote First Returns

[extremely Kendrick Lamar voice] Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Milwaukee’s favorite Greek national leads the entire NBA in All-Star voting after the first checkpoint and is on track to being a captain for the All-Star draft.

Holy Moses.

I know having LeBron James be a captain would create a story line with whether or not he would select Kyrie Irving, but story lines be damned! Giannis Antetokounmpo can potentially combine twiggy limb forces with Kevin Durant (barring Durant is no longer the Western Conference leader) and show Kristaps Porzingis what it would be like to be teammates in Milwaukee.

Some serious snubs that I see are Al Horford and Bradley Beal. Horford should be above Joel Embiid and Beal should be hugging Victor Oladipo in the standings. I’m not going to smash the retweet button for them, so I’ll just keep complaining about how dumb fan voting is.

Today’s (off)topic: Winter Hat Styles

It’s been down right cold in Milwaukee these past two weeks (it is winter after all) and with each passing winter, I see more and more puff ball winter hats. Beanies were the style five-ish(?) years ago and now the puff balls dominate domes. I have one beanie and two puff ball hats, but much prefer to wear my beanie when given the chance. So I ask, which winter hat style do you prefer?
