The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the best cutting teams in the entire NBA. They average 1.366 points per cut according to Synergy, which ranks third in the league. The only teams ahead of them are the Orlando Magic and the Houston Rockets.
Even though Milwaukee doesn’t cut often (only 6.3 percent of the time which is 22nd in the NBA) they have mastered the art of timing. Cutting isn’t all about quantity, it’s more about quality. I put together this video to illustrate how they do it.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Pat Connaughton and Ersan Ilyasova are three of the Bucks’ three best cutters. They also happen to do it the most. These three help set the tone and allow the Bucks to get easy baskets when they need it the most.
Make sure to check out the video and let me know what you think in the comments below. Also, feel free to suggest any ideas for future videos, as I always want to produce content that our readers want to see.
