His To Lose: Giannis Antetokounmpo Should Be the NBA’s MVP

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the clear front-runner for the 2018-19 NBA MVP award.

With 35 games under the Milwaukee Bucks’ belts, the team’s superstar is not slowing down. At this point, the 2018-19 NBA Most Valuable Player award is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s to lose, even if he won’t admit it.

Giannis has a positive net rating of 10.7 and an effective field goal percentage of 60.1%. Even better, he’s the only player in the history of the NBA to average at least 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists (per-36 minutes). He’s otherworldly.

Antetokounmpo’s plethora of skills include ball-handling, passing, fancy footwork, rebounding and defense. Basically, everything besides outside shooting.
