Milwaukee Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks Preview: A St. Patricks Day Showdown

Bucks look to rebound against another tanking team

NBA: Atlanta Hawks at Milwaukee Bucks Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Bucks return to Wisconsin to face the Atlanta Hawks. Both teams are coming off of losses in their previous game. The Bucks have won both of their meetings so far this season.

Bucks Update

Milwaukee seems to want to make things as difficult as possible. They began an easy stretch of games beating the New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies, before deciding not to show up against the Orlando Magic. Milwaukee currently sits in 7th in the Eastern Conference and these are games they need to win in order to possibly move up in the Playoff standings.

Bucks Player to Watch: Eric Bledsoe

Bledsoe has seemed to turn things around offensively, he hasn’t taken as many questionable jumpers and seems to attack the rim more of late. He will have his hands full with Dennis Schroder defensively, who will most likely be the Hawks biggest threat.

Hawks Update

Atlanta has been one of the teams that has been heading towards tankdom this season. The Hawks sit with a record of 20-49 which puts them at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. The Hawks have lost their last five games and will maybe hope to turn that around today.

Hawks Player to Watch: Taurean Prince

On the two year anniversary of one of the best press conferences ever. Here is a reminder of his explanation of rebounding. He’s also been a quality wing defender thus far, we will see how he can contain Khris Middleton tonight.
