Brew Hoop Night Shift: March 20th, 2018

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Today’s (on) topic: The Brandon Jennings Reunion Tour is extended!

Everybody’s favorite Prince of Swag is sticking around in Milwaukee for a little while longer! Brandon Jennings, originally a Bucks first-round draft pick, will sign a second 10-day contract to keep up with the Bucks, which is a boon given that both Matthew Dellavedova and Malcolm Brogdon have remained sidelined with injuries.

Jennings’ contributions have been about what one could reasonably expect; he filled it up against a bad Orlando Magic team, and aside from a few nifty jumpers here and there or moving the ball quickly in transition, Jennings’ impact has been modest. As the tenant in the Bucks’ 14th roster spot (just one ahead of rookie D.J. Wilson...), Jennings will probably end up signing a deal that keeps him around through the offseason, and from there...it’s anybody’s guess.

Today’s (off) topic: Best dinosaur?

Eric Nehm and I got into a tiff on Twitter about which dinosaur was superior: the triceratops or the velociraptor. Eric wants his dino to be a tank, whereas I am more interested in swarms of quick beasts that can strike at the tank and flee before it could turn.

What do YOU think? Are you #TeamTriceratops, #RaptorSquad, or something else entirely?

As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
