Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Tonight’s (on) topic: Giannis Profile
Here’s the entire MUST WATCH feature from @60minutes on @Giannis_an34 https://t.co/0E0IhqpJbo
— Milwaukee Bucks (@Bucks) March 26, 2018
I’m sure you have already seen Giannis Antetokounmpo’s profile on 60 Minutes, but go ahead and watch it again.
My favorite thing that this interview accomplished? For a brief moment, Bucks Twitter shelved our innate pessimism and instead shared memories and love of Giannis the basketball player and human.
Tonight’s (off) topic: Ethiopian Food
After exiting the Bradley Center after Sunday’s win, I went into Alem Ethiopian Village on Wisconsin & Broadway and tried Ethiopian food for the first time, and folks... it rules. It’s finger food that looks like it should 100 percent leave your fingers messier than a rack of ribs, but it doesn’t. The soft, rolled up bread you peel apart to pinch and pick up your food with acts an impenetrable barrier. The whole experience was wonderful and I am beyond glad I went there for a post-game meal.
Which food did you try for the first time and have it be a total slam dunk for your taste buds?
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
