Tonight’s (on) topic: Crystal Basketball Grades

So here is how NBA Math broke down the grades for each player on the Bucks roster, and which tiers they fit into. Here’s the breakdown in order of lowest grade to highest grade:

End of Bench Pieces

D.J. Wilson

Shabazz Muhammad

Sterling Brown

Brandon Jennings

Jason Terry

I’m most surprised that Sterling Brown ranked below Brandon Jennings on here and, of course, D.J. Wilson being the lowest ranked player on the roster is no surprise.

Depth Pieces

Matthew Dellavedova

Tyler Zeller

Thon Maker

I’m moderately surprised that Zeller is below Maker in the grading. Zeller played in 66 games total (24 for Milwaukee) whereas Maker played in 74 games. Maybe those games swung the difference enough for Thon.

High-End Backups

John Henson

Tony Snell

Having two starters in the “High-End Backup” category probably isn’t the greatest feature of the Bucks lineup.

Low-End Starters

Malcolm Brogdon

Jabari Parker

These two make sense here, but I’m surprised that Parker edged out Brogdon in the grading.

High-End Starters

Eric Bledsoe

Khris Middleton

Yep, everything is kosher here. Despite both being frustrating players, they are quality players to have in the lineup.

How do we feel about NBA Math’s grading? Accurate or inaccurate?

Tonight’s (off) topic: Most Sour Warhead Flavor

Personally, I think the Blue Raspberry flavor is the most sour, but I know there are arguments to be made for the Lemon flavor, obviously. So I’ll leave it to y’all: which is the most sour warhead flavor?
