NBA Merchandise Rankings/Last Movie You Saw in Theaters

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (on) topic: NBA Merchandise Rankings

Woo-hoo another list that features Giannis Antetokounmpo among other NBA household names! This is not necessarily the most surprising news anymore considering the NBA All-Star voting results served as foreshadowing for his fourth place finish. I picked up a Giannis jersey back in late October and I can only imagine that people who already owned the white, green, and/or black versions of a Giannis jersey, probably picked up a throwback or cream jersey as well.

Speaking of the two new jerseys, the Bucks as a franchise placed sixth in the merchandise rankings among the entire league. Having an international superstar like Giannis helps a great deal and his presence along with the organization’s two new, well received alternate jerseys, and bombardment of new Nike merchandise helped buoyed the Bucks into the top-10.

How much, and what kind of Bucks gear did you purchase between last October and today? On top of the Giannis jersey I picked up in that time, I also added a B Sweater from the MECCA game to my closet.

Tonight’s (off) topic: What’s the Last Movie You Saw in Theaters?

Sunday evening, I watched A Quiet Place in theaters and I believe that in doing so my streak of 14 months between theater experiences was snapped. I had previously seen Get Out at the theater back in February of 2017 and unless you count seeing all the Oscar nominated Short Movies (Films?) on the big screen then I guess that would have been the streak snapper.

Either way, just two and a half times in 14 months is a drought and I feel like I’m not alone in this as movies get more and more expensive and more and more dumb/predictable. What was the last movie you saw in theaters and when was it?

As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
