Brew Hoop Night Shift: May 30th, 2018

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (on) topic: The Season in Ridiculous NBA Stories

I 100 percent forgot that Bobby Portis broke his now former teammate’s face in the pre-season. That is how nuts this NBA season has been with wacky story lines.

Last night’s news of Philadelphia 76ers GM, Bryan Colangelo, having multiple “anonymous” twitter accounts to criticize players, coaches, and former co-workers has to be the top story this year, but that might be recency bias kicking in.

The Staples Center locker room shouting match between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Houston Rockets is my favorite story of the year. Mainly due to former-Clipper, Chris Paul, ushering his new team through a secret tunnel and having another player, I think Clint Capela(?), act as a distraction at the front of the Clippers’ locker room, all the while the Paul-led group sneaked in through the back.

Which story line has been your favorite this year?

Tonight’s (off) topic:

In honor of the Finals starting tomorrow night here is a quiz that stumped me pretty good. I only mustered a 19/37.
