Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Tonight’s (on) topic:
JUST IN: Milwaukee Bucks lead NBA in new season ticket sales, on pace to set franchise season ticket sale record https://t.co/1T1tgbrm7i

Well hot dog!
Looks like excitement for the new arena is spilling over into season ticket sales. Of course, new head coach, Mike Budenholzer, and perennial All-Star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, contribute to the allure of the shiny new home. There has been an unfamiliar aura of positivity surrounding the franchise since the Budenholzer hiring and the downtown transformation has started to carve out an identity within Milwaukee city limits.
This is going according to the plan that has been laid out for the past handful of years and it is great to see that the Bucks will hopefully start to climb the league attendance rankings after finishing 24th this past season even after seeing a 5.7 percent increase in attendance.
The ticket sales staff is not resting on its laurels quite yet, however:
...total season tickets sold as of Monday was 8,400 and that the team is on pace to sell 10,000 season tickets for the first time in team history.
That is a lot of continuous butts seating in those brand new, cup holder having seats.
Tonight’s (off) topic:
Speaking of arenas, this was a fun quiz to try and remember which brands are plastered on the arenas around the league. I posted a solid 28/30 (curse you Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz)!
