Brew Hoop Night Shift: June 13th, 2018

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (on) topic:

ESPN commissioned artists to come up with fake artwork that cities might use to lure LeBron James to come play for their respective teams. Milwaukee’s is pretty cool with how it plays off of both James’ and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s nicknames, but I am not too keen on the word choice used in the last few words of the description:

Pairing Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James, two of the league’s most dynamic players, would make Milwaukee the new Beast of the East, and turn “Bucks in 6” from a punchline to a rallying cry.

Bucks in Six was never a punchline, c’mon! Just for that I’ll nit pick the geographical inaccuracy of the mural. The WESC should be to the viewer’s left of the art museum, not to the viewer’s right - ha!

Tonight’s (off) topic:

Cabins are fun! I used to date a girl that had a family cabin up in Nekoosa (shout out Petenwell Lake) and it was always a blast up there. Any of y’all planning to make a cabin trip this summer?

Brew Hoop has partnered up with BreakingT to design and distribute licensed moment-driven shirts as they happen. Check out this link for the latest items!

As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
