dWhen Woj Bombs are going off left and right, nobody is safe. In Saturday night’s hugely chaotic opening of NBA free agency, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Milwaukee Bucks have signed...Ersan Ilyasova. Yes, Ersanity himself.
Ersan Ilyasova has agreed to a 3 year, $21M deal with Milwaukee, league source tells ESPN.

Ersan the player offers a great deal of grit and hustle, while also serving as a functional rebounder and floor spacer from the power forward position. But...if this deal goes through, are we expecting a similar degree of buyer’s remorse from this contract after signing similar (albeit slightly more expensive) contracts with Tony Snell, Matthew Dellavedova, John Henson, and Mirza Teletovic?
We will have more on this story, and on the Bucks’ foray into free agency, as things develop. Until then, welcome back Ersan, I guess?
UPDATE! Zach Lowe has swooped in (swept in?) and made everybody feel a little bit better by reporting that Ersan’s third year is not guaranteed.
Year 3 of Ilyasova's deal is non-guaranteed, per league sources. https://t.co/9h3I64GaNA

This gives the team more flexibility long-term and, while even a 2 year/$14 million contract for Ilyasova still feels like an overpay, Bucks fans can feel marginally better about the specifics of this deal.
