Brew Hoop Night Shift: July 19th, 2018

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (on) topic: New Court?!

Well this would explain why every promo picture of the arena interior has featured the alternate “Fear the Deer” court. It looks like the Bucks are scrapping their previous green themed for a new one. This is where my red/green colorblindness is going to fail me, but does it look brighter? Almost neon?

The baselines being solid green and textured adds a unique visual aspect to the new floor. I am a fan of the standalone, and enlarged, deer head at center court. From what I can tell there does not appear to be any blue in sight along the end lines.

How do we feel about the new court? It gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from me!

Tonight’s (off) topic: New Flag?!

This gets a big helllllllllll yeah from me.

The “People’s Flag” has such a clean look to it and this formal debate should have taken place awhile ago. For those that have no idea what the actual city-sanctioned flag looks like:

Should the Bucks incorporate these flag colors onto a new alternate jersey? I don’t think that would look too hot, personally.
