Tonight’s (on) topic:

Of all of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s dunks this year, I think this was my favorite. Yes, his dunk over Tim Hardaway Jr. was absolutely insane, but this particular dunk came out of nowhere. The game was in hand and winding down, and Giannis caught everyone sleeping. Here is what I love about the dunk:

The crossover had Thabo Sefolosha way off balance and created the momentum that generated the storm that was about to erupt inside the Bradley Center.

THAT LEFT HAND EXTENSION! LOOK AT HIS HAND HOLDING THE BALL LIKE US MORTALS HOLD A CANTALOUPE! (this is also the last second where Rudy Gobert thought he could get in the way)

And this is where Gobert realized he could not get in the way. The Defensive Player of the Year pulled away so as to not have the utmost amount of embarrassment heaped on him. Unfortunately for Gobert, he realized his mistake too late.

This dunk also created a top five Giannis celebration face moment. Here he is going full werewolf and basking in the full moon glow that was his dunk.

This is the face of a man who had an out of body experience and achieved nirvana at the same time.

In summation, what a dunk.

Tonight’s (off) topic: Beach Activities

When y’all go to the beach, how do you pass the time? Play some volleyball, splash around in the water, or just get your tan on?

I am the person that will just lay there in the sun and read and then realize too late that I forgot to put on more sunscreen after the first hour. Oops.
