The Milwaukee Bucks will forego a pre-season game at the Kohl Center at the University of Wisconsin in favor of expanding the brand west of the Mississippi and into Ames, Iowa. Central/Northern Iowa is a pocket of Twin Cities sports fans, so it makes sense that the Minnesota Timberwolves would mosey on south for a warm-up game.
Of course, the Bucks will get another crack at the Timberwolves in the pre-season finale on October 12th. It will be just the second basketball game played at Fiserv Forum.
Tonight’s (off) topic:
I do not really have a preference for which style my pizza comes in, but I know that pan pizza is the best, less messy cousin of deep dish, and the larger older brother to thin crust, so it gets my vote on the seamless combination.
