Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Tonight’s (on) topic:
The King is gone, and @Giannis_An34 is the logical successor to the throne.@JonathanTjarks: https://t.co/M3tdjOWzxq

Come for the extremely optimistic outlook on the Bucks’ season, stay for the World War I metaphor involving Jason Kidd.
I would argue that Mike Budenholzer’s addition to the Bucks will have a greater impact than Kawhi Leonard’s addition to the Toronto Raptors. I am so excited to see an offense that looks like it actually has a method to its madness. The same thing goes for the defense.
If there was ever a time to trust the Bucks, it’s probably before the first game is played.
Tonight’s (off) topic:
Record extension for Packers, Aaron Rodgers includes $103 million guaranteed and could reach $180 million total, per sources:https://t.co/9f6XW69KlZ

Shout-out to partial Bucks owner Aaron Rodgers on getting more money to help pitch in when the luxury tax threshold is inevitably crossed. Comparing Rodgers’ total guarantee amount of $103 million to current NBA contract guarantee figures, he would have the tenth highest amount owed in the NBA, sandwiched between Blake Griffin and LeBron James. I was brought up as a Chicago Bears fan, but it is impossible to hate on #12 and living in Milwaukee has only made me like the Green Bay Packers more.
