Brew Hoop Night Shift: August 6th, 2018

Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (on) topic:

Greg Monroe just cannot quit the Eastern Conference as he has signed with the Toronto Raptors. Now we get to see more of Monroe after being treated to his presence during last year’s post-season. The Raptors needed some front court depth and they got a very cheap and reliable option. Have fun shouting “And one!” in the Great White North, Moose.

Tonight’s (off) topic:

Huh, my takeaway from this is that I had no idea there was a Harbor District neighborhood. I just figured Walker’s Point extended all the way south to Bay View. Municipal neighborhood semantics aside, more development along the water front is fine by me and extending out to the rivers is the natural progression. It’s cool that every week it seems like a new development is either being announced, breaking ground, or being completed.

Brew Hoop has partnered up with BreakingT to design and distribute licensed moment-driven shirts as they happen. Check out this link for the latest items!

As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
