Tonight’s (off) topic: The Emmys
Anyone else a devout follower of The Emmys, even when they’ve barely seen a quarter of the shows on the broadcast? I love pulling for my favorites (shame on the academy for boxing out Twin Peaks weirdness), but did enjoy the genuine “live tv” moment of an award winner proposing to his girlfriend onstage. I also thought Game of Thrones won for what was a lackluster season. Any losers you were hoping would pull out a victory? Disappointments? Let us know.
