The Brew Hoop Podcast Episode 6: Setting Realistic Player Goals (Part 1)

Plus, a breakdown of the new Fiserv Forum

NBA: Playoffs-Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

Time for yet another episode of The Brew Hoop Podcast, this time broken down into two parts. While there’s still little in the way of offseason news to go on, it’s high time we started getting into season preview fodder. As such, Mitchell hopped in for a lengthy discussion about what sort of goals we’re setting for the vast majority of the Bucks roster.

In part one, we dive into the bottom half of the roster (from our perspective), touching mainly on rookie or second-year players plus some of the folks expected to ride the pine at the end of the bench. To go along with our discussion, Mitchell also crafted a riddle he’s quite proud of (please @ him on Twitter or place your praise in the comments) for the loyal readers to solve about the extent of what we’re fully chatting about.

If I’m too low, it’s not a challenge, but if I’m too high, it isn’t fair.

You can meet me, but cannot shake my hand.

I weigh you down, though I’m lighter than air.

What am I?

To hear the answer, I guess you’ll just have to listen to the pod below.

We’ll run part two come Monday, but make sure you listen all the way to the end of this one. Gabe joined me for a discussion of his Fiserv Forum impressions after experiencing its glory twice already. For anyone that hasn’t been able to see it yet (sadly raises hand), it’s quite enlightening.

Make sure to subscribe and review us on iTunes if you so choose, and thanks as always for listening!
