Hello. It is the end of the first quarter. The Bucks are up 43-14. I’ll come back near the end of the game and will update if anything changes.
*SpongeBob time card voice*: Three quarters later...
Yeah, nothing changed. The Bucks just won 144-112. That was not a typo.
There was quite the variety of scoring in this one for Milwaukee, as all five starters (K. Middleton, G. Antetokounmpo, B. Lopez, M. Brogdon, and E. Bledsoe) all tallied double digits. Milwaukee never trailed the entire night.
Stat(s) That Stood Out
The Bucks are very, very, good. The Hawks are not. I could just roll with that, but how about Giannis’ first quarter stat line? He had a slash of 8/6/7 in the opening 12 minutes. The man never fails to amaze. Part of me is almost upset that this was such a blowout because I wanted to see him more. But in all seriousness, it’s insane to watch what he does out on the court on a constant basis. In the end, he posted a total line of 16 points, eight boards, 10 assists, and two blocks...in just 19:24 of action.
