There’s an old saying that goes “any port in a storm.” I’m sure it has less savory applications, but the idea is always the same: when things get tough, you take what you can get. Things might not yet be tough...but it’s getting there.

In a couple of days, the Milwaukee Bucks will visit home for a single matchup against the Chicago Bulls, and despite the two team’s very different trajectories this season, the game is a pretty important one. Not necessarily because of the opponent, but because of the timing. Just take a look at the Bucks’ schedule from Halloween to the week before Thanksgiving:

That’s a two-game road trip, a very important home game, and then a 4- and 3-game slate where Milwaukee is the visitor, all sandwiched around this Bulls game. Matching up against Chicago might seem like just another game, but really it’s an opportunity for the Bucks to prove that they can deal with adversity. Few things are tougher than dealing with NBA travel, and having one home game (out of eight total) over a three-week period is challenging indeed.

So support the team, go to Fiserv Forum and let them feel that home court energy. Who knows, if the going gets tough on the road, this game could be more competitive than anyone here will admit, which means that the team could use your presence even more.
