After much discussion and request from the people, we give them what they want! So with that, we are happy to revive the Brew Hoop Night Shift. For those of you that are new, here’s how it works:
Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Tonight’s (on) topic: Memories of winning streaks
Unfortunately we saw two impressive winning streaks come to an end on Monday with the Milwaukee Bucks losing to the Dallas Mavericks 116-120 snapping their streak, while the Wisconsin Herd saw their 12 game win streak end after a 124-125 defeat to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Thankfully Wisconsin rebounded with a 120-114 win against the Austin Spurs. What were your highlights of the streak? For me it was the fact that both of these streaks happened at the same time!
Tonight’s (off) topic: Star Wars
Tomorrow is the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which will conclude the Skywalker trilogy. Some people hated The Last Jedi, I feel as though the criticism was overblown after rewatching it, so it will be interesting to see how this movie turns out. For context, here are my rankings of Star Wars Movies:
- Empire Strikes Back
- Rogue One
- Return of the Jedi
- A New Hope
- Revenge of the Sith
- The Last Jedi
- The Force Awakens
- Solo
- The Phantom Menace
- Attack of the Clones
Lets just say the bottom two are terrible and there’s a sizable gap. I know some people will disagree but please understand the top two are non-debatable.
