Rapid Recap: Bucks 131, Lakers 120

NBA: Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Lakers Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Bucks pushed their road winning streak to 10 games with a 131-120 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday night.

For the Bucks, they were led by the performance of Eric Bledsoe who sliced and diced his way to 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo “only” scored 16 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 blocks. Malcolm Brogdon contributed 21 points, and Khris Middleton added 17 points and 6 assists. Ersan Ilyasova pitched in 12 points and Nikola Mirotic put in 11.

For the Lakers, LeBron James was up to his usual tricks with 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists. Brandon Ingram got hot and dropped 31 points as well while Rajon Rodon scored 20 points on 19 shots.

Stat That Stood Out: 51.6%

The Bucks converted on 51.6 percent of their shots, and it helped stabilize things when it looked like the Lakers were about to make a big run. It wasn’t the prettiest of performances offensively, but any night you make 51.6% of your shots it’s a good night.
