Welcome to the 2019 NBA Draft, one of the premier events of the basketball calendar, and one that Milwaukee Bucks fans have been anticipating for weeks. The draft is an opportunity to pick out a diamond in the rough, to add talent to your team, and to find that next contributor.

There’s also trades to be leaked and deals to be done; general managers use the draft to wheel and deal their franchises into better positions all the time, whether they’re out for players, picks, or cash considerations. The NBA Draft is a time of hope for every franchise, and the Bucks are no different. With their wealth of draft assets and in-demand contracts, here are the things the Bucks have to look forward to accomplishing tonight:

(In all seriousness, the Bucks only had the 30th overall pick, and managed to trade it away along with Tony Snell for the assumed-to-be-stretched-very-soon contract of former Buck/Badger Jon Leuer. The trade was a clear salary dump that will help Milwaukee manage their offseason goals more easily, and barring an out-of-nowhere trade or the purchase of a second round pick, the Bucks are unlikely to have any activity this evening. tl;dr: this tweet.)
