The NBA offseason is in full swing, and the news everyone someone (there’s one person, I swear) has been waiting for is here. The Milwaukee Bucks have announced their roster for the Las Vegas Summer League, the place where foul limits are absurdly high and field goal percentages are abysmally low.

From the team’s press release:

The roster consists of current Bucks players Sterling Brown, Bonzie Colson and D.J. Wilson, as well as Xavier Munford, who finished last season with the Wisconsin Herd, and college standouts Fletcher Magee and Luke Maye. Bucks assistant coach Darvin Ham will be the Summer League head coach for Milwaukee.

Milwaukee will tip-off its Summer League slate on Friday, July 5, at 2:30 p.m. CT against the entry from the Philadelphia 76ers with three more preliminary games scheduled against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday, July 6 (4 p.m. CT), Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, July 8 (8 p.m. CT) and the Chinese National Team on Wednesday, July 10 (10 p.m. CT).

Obviously, the team’s forays into free agency are more top-of-mind right now, but the young players’ Summer League opportunities are worth paying attention to too. Wilson, DiVincenzo, and Brown will all have opportunities to crack the rotation this upcoming season, although Donte’s heel may preclude him from participating in the festivities.

The full schedule will be available on NBA.com, and we’ll be sure to pore over all the box score data to determine whether or not Bonzie Colson is a candidate for MIP in 2019-20. (Spoiler alert: probably not, but he’s still good!)
