Ranking the Roster 2019: The Result so Nice, It Happened Twice

Ersan heads off the board at #12 in our revised poll

*dislodges tongue from cheek* It happened again, and Ersan Ilyasova is officially cast off from the ranking the roster exercise. I’ve already outlined most of my rationale for why I think Ersan could be a fairly valuable asset for Milwaukee this season given his expiring contract and moderate salary, but there are arguments to be made for him finishing behind all the other folks in our poll. That couldn’t really be said for him finishing 15th.

SurveyMonkey wound up being a money sink that would’ve required upgrading to see beyond the first 100 results, hence the 57 votes correlating to 57% in the poll below. I thought it would be a cleaner solution, but I was wrong. We’re trying a different platform with seemingly stronger protections against duplicate votes (h/t stoneAge) so hopefully this ends our voting nightmare from here on out.
