It isn’t surprising news given the trends in All-Star voting over the past couple months, but it’s finally official: Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a captain in the 2020 NBA All-Star Game:

This represents confirmation of Giannis’s absolute dominance this season. The counting stats are bonkers, the advanced stats even moreso, the Bucks are on their way to perhaps the greatest season in franchise history, and that doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the star power his personality radiates.
